These terms govern your use of focusconnect.com (the “site”), operated by FocusConnect (“we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Our services are provided under a separate agreement

This site describes FocusConnect’s managed IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and consulting services. It does not create a client relationship. Any services we provide are governed by a signed master services agreement, statement of work, or proposal, and those documents control if they conflict with anything on this site.

Pricing, plans, timelines, and service descriptions on the site are general information and estimates, not offers. Your actual scope and pricing are set in a written proposal.

Not professional advice

Articles, blog posts, and other content on this site are general information about technology, cybersecurity, and compliance. They are not legal, regulatory, or technical advice for your specific situation, and reading them doesn’t make you a client. Regulations such as CMMC, NIST, HIPAA, and others change, so confirm requirements with a qualified advisor before acting.

No accounts or logins

This site has no user accounts, client portal, or login pages. FocusConnect will never ask you to enter a password, multi-factor code, or payment details through this site or through an unsolicited email linking to it. If you receive a message claiming to be from us that asks for credentials, don’t respond, and report it to info@focusconnect.com.

Information you submit

When you use a form on the site, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you’re authorized to share it. Please don’t submit passwords, payment details, health information, controlled unclassified information (CUI), or other sensitive data through the site. How we handle what you submit is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The site’s content, design, text, graphics, and logos belong to FocusConnect or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view, print, and share pages for your own non-commercial use, provided you keep any copyright notices. You may not copy, republish, or create derivative works from the site’s content without our written permission.

Certification and award marks, including CMMC, AICPA SOC, SBA EDWOSB, and Vistage, belong to their respective owners. They’re shown to identify certifications and recognition FocusConnect holds and don’t imply endorsement of this site.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its hosting, or any related system
  • Scan, probe, or test the site’s security except as allowed in the next section
  • Disrupt the site, including through denial-of-service attacks, automated flooding, or malicious code
  • Submit spam, false information, or content that is unlawful or infringes anyone’s rights
  • Scrape or harvest information from the site in bulk, or use it to send unsolicited messages

Reporting security issues

We welcome good-faith reports of security vulnerabilities in this site. Contact us through our security contact and give us reasonable time to fix the issue before disclosing it. When researching, don’t access or change data that isn’t yours, don’t degrade the site for others, and stop as soon as you’ve confirmed an issue. We won’t pursue action against researchers who follow these guidelines.

The site may link to third-party websites, such as event registration pages or certification bodies. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work to keep the site accurate and available but don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FocusConnect and its owners, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content. This section doesn’t limit any obligations under a signed services agreement with us.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FocusConnect harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
