Use of Information
FocusConnect uses commercially reasonable precautions to maintain the security of the information that is disclosed to us. We use information collected through the Website to: (i) customize use of the Website for our visitors; (ii) enable customers to purchase goods and services; (iii) communicate with visitors regarding our and third parties’ products and services; and (iv) improve the functionality of the Website to enhance future use.

- Contact Information

- Credit Card Information
Should you wish to purchase goods or services through the Website, you will be required to submit credit card information, your customer number (if you have one) and related information. If you choose not to provide this information, you will not be able to purchase goods or services through the Website.
- Location Information
In order to for you to utilize various features of the Website, FocusConnect may need to collect information concerning your location. Some devices permit users to disable this feature, but doing so may diminish your experience with the Website, as certain functions may be unavailable or may not work as intended.
- Usage Information
FocusConnect may obtain certain generic information about you when you use the Website. This may include your IP address, Unique Device Identifier (“UDI”) and arrival time. The UDI reveals nothing personal about the user other than the UDI from which the user has accessed the Website. We may use this information to examine aggregate Website traffic, but FocusConnect does not collect or evaluate this information with regard to individuals.
FocusConnect may use “cookies” in order to track use of the Website. A cookie is a small alphanumeric identifier that your browser stores on your computer’s hard drive when you visit the Website. Consequently, we can enhance your future use of the Website by identifying features of the Website that you have used previously. You can remove or disable cookies at any time.
The Website may also contain electronic images known as “clear gifs” or “web beacons.” Web beacons collect limited information such as the time and date of a page view, and a description of the webpage on which the web beacon resides. However, you are ultimately responsible for protecting your User ID, password, user account and credit card details from disclosure to third parties, and you are not permitted to circumvent the use of encryption technologies. You agree to: (i) immediately notify FocusConnect of any unauthorized use of your User ID, password and/or user account and credit card details, and/or any other breach of security; and (ii) ensure that you exit from your user account at the end of each session. While FocusConnect takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect your confidential information, we do not and cannot guarantee or warrant that information transmitted through the internet is secure, or that such transmissions are free from delay, interruption, interception or error.
FocusConnect is committed to data security with respect to information collected on the Website. It is our practice to contact users if a problem should arise with your purchase of products and/or services from the Website or if we need to send you a normal business communication regarding your purchase.
External Privacy Considerations
The Website may contain various links to various websites. FocusConnect is not and cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any of those websites. Other than under agreements with certain reputable organizations and companies, and except for third party service providers whose services you voluntarily elect to utilize, we do not share any of the personal information that you provide to us with any of the websites to which the Website links, although we may share aggregate, non-personally identifiable data with those other websites. Because the Website is accessible globally, you agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct. Specifically, you agree to adhere to all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported to or from the United States or the nation in which you reside.
Additionally, for users visiting us from a country within the European Union, please note that FocusConnect may transfer your personally identifiable data outside the European Union for use for any of the above-described purposes. By using the Website and providing FocusConnect with your personal data, you consent to such transfer of your personal data.
Your California Privacy Rights
California’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires us to disclose how we respond to “do not track” requests and other similar mechanisms. Our current policy is that we do not recognize “do not track” requests from Internet browsers and similar devices.
Additional, pursuant to California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide personal information in connection with obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us (once per calendar year) information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g., requests made in 2015 will receive information regarding 2014 sharing activities).
